LAHORE – Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz presided over a high-level meeting to review progress on the Lahore Development Plan, issuing strict directives to ensure timely completion of infrastructure projects across the city.
Key Decisions & Deadlines Announced:
Municipal Corporation: 3,705 streets to be rehabilitated by June 30
WASA Projects: 230 streets under Water & Sanitation Authority to be completed by June 30
WASA & RICKS: 1,573 streets to be repaired by July 31
Phase 2 Targets: Roads in Iqbal Town, Aziz Bhatti, and Wahga Town prioritized for immediate upgrades
CM’s Zero-Tolerance Policy on Delays
Maryam Nawaz emphasized:
“Delays in development projects directly impact citizens’ lives. I hold myself accountable to the public and will not tolerate excuses. We must ensure quality work meets deadlines.”
She personally inspected project sites via photo reports to verify compliance with standards.
