Chairman of EU Pak Friendship Federation Europe Meets with MEP Tomas ZDECKOVSKY
Brussels, Belgium :Dr. Pervaiz Iqbal Lohsar (T.Kt), Chairman of the EU Pak Friendship Federation Europe, met with Tomas ZDECKOVSKY, Member of the European Parliament’s Delegation for Relations with South Asia, This meeting took place at the European Parliament and marks the third session of the “Mission Pakistan” initiative.During the meeting, Dr. Lohsar provided a comprehensive overview of the post-war situation between Pakistan and India, particularly focusing on the military strategies employed by Pakistan in response to the Indian aggression on May 7, 2025.
He reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to a peaceful resolution of the Indian occupied Jammu & Kashmir and urged for constructive dialogue.Tomas ZDECKOVSKY expressed his appreciation for Pakistan’s responsible handling of the situation and acknowledged Pakistan as a responsible nuclear state compared to India. He emphasized the importance of international efforts to resolve the Kashmir issue and prevent further escalation between the two nuclear-armed nations.
Mr. ZDECKOVSKY commended the strength and restraint shown by the Pakistan Army on May 10, 2025, which played a crucial role in de-escalating tensions.Mr. Tomas reiterated that Pakistan’s GSP Plus status remains intact and will be considered for further extension in due course.In conclusion, Dr. Lohsar informed the MEP about India’s negative diplomacy, which has frequently undermined peace efforts and reaffirmed Pakistan’s position regarding alleged false flag operations in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.This meeting underscores the ongoing commitment of the EU Pak Friendship Federation to foster dialogue and understanding between Pakistan and the European Union.
