Manama: Pakistan has made a brilliant start to the tournament by defeating the Philippines 1-3 in the AVC Asian Volleyball Nations Cup in Bahrain. On the first day of the Asian Volleyball Nations Cup in Manama, Bahrain, Pakistan put up a great performance against the Philippines. Pakistan won the first two sets to strengthen its grip on the match, however, the Philippines made a comeback in the third set and tied the match 1-2.
In the fourth set, there was a thrilling contest between the two teams and the Philippines fought hard, but Pakistan proved to be a strong opponent for them. Pakistan won the fourth set and won the match that lasted one hour and 6 minutes, with the winning score being 18-25, 12-25, 25-18 and 22-25.
