It’s common for relatives to talk about becoming an actress: Nausheen Shah

Lahore: actress of the Pakistani showbiz industry, Nausheen Shah, has revealed that it is not uncommon for relatives to cut ties with women after becoming an actress.

Actress and model Nausheen Shah, in a recent interview, spoke openly about social attitudes towards women working in the showbiz industry. She revealed that sometimes even her close relatives cut ties with actresses.

Renowned actress Nousheen Shah is known for her bold style and excellent acting. During a conversation in a program, she said that women working in showbiz are still viewed with suspicion.

She has said that people still hesitate to establish a relationship with an actress, they find it difficult to accept that their wife or daughter-in-law is a woman who comes before the world.

Nousheen further stated that this is not just a reaction from society, but often times, even family members like maternal uncles, uncles, or aunts end their relationship because of being an actress.

She says that when I joined showbiz, my mother was also against it, but with time she recognized my hard work. For me, my mother’s consent was the most important thing and today she is my biggest supporter.
