Nations Hockey Cup: Pakistan to semi-final

Kuala Lumpur: Pakistan has made it to the semi-finals of the FIH Nations Cup hockey tournament. Malaysia knocked Japan out of the semi-final race by defeating them 2-1 in the final group match of Group B.
In Group B, Pakistan won one match, lost one and drew one match. Based on the best goal average, Pakistan has made it to the semi-finals of the event. In the first match, Pakistan and host Malaysia drew 3-3. The Shaheens defeated Japan 0-3 in the second match, while in the third and final match, New Zealand defeated Pakistan 3-4 after a thrilling encounter.
On the other hand, the teams of France and Korea from Pool A have already reached the semi-finals.
