Sabrina Carpenter considers banning phones at concerts
Pop sensation Sabrina Carpenter is contemplating a bold move that could reshape the concert experience for her fans, introducing a phone-free policy at her live shows.
In a candid interview with Rolling Stone, the 25-year-old singer revealed she is “absolutely” considering banning phones at her performances, even though she knows it might not sit well with her audience. “This will honestly piss off my fans,” Carpenter admitted, acknowledging the controversy such a decision might spark.

The idea struck Carpenter after attending a Silk Sonic concert in Las Vegas, where audience members were required to lock away their phones. The experience left a lasting impression on the Manchild hitmaker.
“I’ve never had a better experience at a concert,” she shared. “It genuinely felt like I was there. Everyone’s singing, dancing, looking at each other, and laughing. It really, really just felt so beautiful.”
