TikToker Sana Yousaf case: Court extends physical remand of suspect
A local court in Islamabad on Friday extended the physical remand of the suspect in TikToker Sana Yousaf’s murder case, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
After completing a four-day physical remand, police presented Hayat before Judicial Magistrate Hafeez Ahmed. Prosecution representatives Adnan Ali, Raja Naveed Hussain, and Mazhar Bashir appeared in court to request an extension to the remand for further investigation.

Prosecutor Raja Naveed informed the court that the vehicle allegedly used by the accused has already been recovered, while efforts are still underway to retrieve the mobile phone.
“The accused is extremely cunning and aware of the severity of his crime, which is why he’s deliberately avoiding the recovery of the mobile phone,” Raja Naveed stated.
The prosecution requested a seven-day extension. However, the court approved a three-day extension and directed authorities to present the accused again on June 23.
Sana Yousaf was a 17-year-old Pakistani influencer famed for her vibrant TikTok and Instagram presence, with over a million followers.
According to police, the 22-year-old suspect shot and killed the first-year medical student as she rejected his advances. The suspect was arrested within 20 hours of the shooting.
Her death triggered widespread grief and outrage, with social media trends like #JusticeForSanaYousaf and public protests calling for justice and heightened safety for female creators.
