Hania Aamir and Diljit Dosanjh’s Sardaar Ji 3 to Release in Pakistani Cinemas This Friday
LAHORE/KARACHI/ISLAMABAD – The highly anticipated Punjabi comedy-drama Sardaar Ji 3, starring Indian superstar Diljit Dosanjh and Pakistani actress Hania Aamir, is all set to hit cinemas across Pakistan this Friday.
The film has officially received clearance from all three major Pakistani censor boards — Sindh, Punjab, and the federal board — paving the way for its theatrical release nationwide.
Zain Wali of Wali Films, the local distributor and one of the film’s producers, confirmed the approval to Images.
Hania Aamir also took to Instagram to share the film’s official poster, writing “See you :)” — exciting fans on both sides of the border. The poster featured names of major Pakistani cinema chains, including Cinepax, Nueplex Cinemas (Karachi), Cue Cinemas (Lahore), and Centaurus Cineplex (Islamabad), indicating wide-scale release.
Two major cinemas have already confirmed showtimes. Universal Cinemas in Lahore announced the first screening of Sardaar Ji 3 at 11:45 AM on Friday, while Centaurus Cineplex in Islamabad confirmed they will also screen the film, with showtimes expected to be revealed by 7 or 8 PM tonight.
Both cinema chains have promoted the film on their official social media handles, generating strong buzz among moviegoers eager to see the cross-border collaboration.
