KARACHI:
In a daring late-night robbery, a group of armed men and burqa-clad women looted over Rs130 million in cash and valuables from the residence of a prominent car showroom owner in PECHS Block 2.

The incident occurred in the early hours of June 26, when the victim, Muhammad Salik, returned to his home around 3:30 AM. As he parked his car outside, a black vehicle arrived and blocked his way. Two men and three women dressed in burqas emerged — one of the men was reportedly wearing an FIA (Federal Investigation Agency) uniform.

Brandishing firearms, the robbers forced Salik into his home. Once inside, they held the family at gunpoint and demanded keys to wardrobes and safes. The robbers ransacked the home and escaped with Rs130 million in cash, nine high-end mobile phones (including iPhones and Google Pixels), 20 luxury wristwatches, a smartwatch, 25 designer perfumes, and two laptops.

A case has been registered at the Ferozabad Police Station on Salik’s complaint. Law enforcement officials have acquired CCTV footage and launched an investigation to trace the suspects.

Authorities suspect the use of fake uniforms and inside information, and are treating the case as a planned, high-stakes robbery targeting affluent individuals.
