Harassment behind showbiz:Meher Bano’s revelations

Lahore: (Web Desk) Pakistani actress and dancer Mehr Bano has said that boys and girls often face harassment in the showbiz industry.

Mehr Bano said that just as every industry has its dark sides, in showbiz too, artists face pressure from powerful people and inappropriate demands are made of them in exchange for work.

She clarified that due to the presence of beautiful faces and charming personalities in this industry, people easily become targets and fall victim to harassment.

The actress further said that often both boys and girls face harassment, this issue is a dark side of the showbiz industry that needs to be discussed openly.
The famous dancer also said that she does not like playing innocent girl roles in dramas, but prefers roles in which the girls are confident and make their own decisions, because such roles are more similar to her own personality.
Mehr Bano also revealed that many big actors in the industry have bad body odor, which makes it difficult to work with them, yet they have to be tolerated.
