Karachi: Popular actress Mehwish Hayat has said that marriage is a gamble, which is why she does not want to make this decision in a hurry.Mehwish Hayat recently spoke openly about her career and other matters in an interview with Showbiz Magazine. The actress said that she intends to direct in the future. She carefully watches the work of directors on the sets of dramas and notes every little detail so that those things can be useful to her in the future.

In response to a question, Mehwish Hayat said that in Pakistan, men are allowed to age gracefully. Many men appear on screen with younger girls despite their age and society has no objection to this, but for actresses, this standard is different. They are expected to stand still for time.

According to him, this does not happen in the West. Age is given excessive emphasis in our society. It is not known why we worry so much about an actress’ age, even ignoring her skills, hard work, and talent, and only making age the topic of discussion.
Mehwish Hayat said that aging is a natural process that is not under anyone’s control. Every human being is getting older with each passing day. Those who criticize the age of actresses will also go through the same process themselves. Therefore, it is not right to have unfair expectations from female actresses in this regard.
