
Temperatures 40º:European and British authorities issue health and wildlife warnings
London, Barcelona,Rome, Paris: Due to the extreme heat, European and British authorities have issued health and wildlife warnings, while heatwave warnings have been issued in Italy, Greece, Spain and Portugal.
According to foreign media, a woman died of heatstroke in the Spanish capital Barcelona. Temperatures of 47 degrees were recorded in the Mora region of Portugal, after which citizens were instructed to stay at home.

In Italy, 21 cities, including Rome, Milan and Naples, have been put on high heat alert, with numerous cases of heatstroke reported in hospitals and various areas considering banning outdoor activities during the day.Paris recorded its hottest day of the year today, with temperatures reaching 35 degrees Celsius, which is expected to reach 49. In France, the temperature is 34 degrees, which is expected to reach 38, due to which an orange alert has been issued and educational institutions have been closed.
The hottest June day in British history was recorded, with temperatures reaching 35 degrees in Manchester. Forest fire warnings were issued in several European countries, while people headed to the coast to escape the heat.
