Captain Ronaldo expresses grief over Diaz’s death in accident

Portugal football team captain Cristiano Ronaldo has expressed his condolences over the death of Diego Zota in a car accident.

Liverpool and Portugal forward Diego Zota has died at the age of 28 in a car crash near Zamora in northwestern Spain.
According to international media reports, Diego Zota’s younger brother, 25-year-old Andre Silva, also lost his life in the car accident.

Ronaldo expressed his condolences to Zota’s family on Twitter.
He wrote, “It all seems meaningless, we were just together in the national team, you just got married, I express my condolences to your family, wife and children and wish them all the strength in the world.”

Ronaldo further wrote, “I know you will always be with them, Diego and Andre, we will all miss you.”
