Shim Jae-hyun passes away at age 23
Seoul: (Web Desk)South Korean K-pop singer Shim Jae-hyun has died at the age of 23.
Shim Jae-hyun was born on April 7, 2002 in South Korea and entered the music field as a teenager. Shim Jae-hyun rose to fame in 2020 when he officially debuted as a member of the K-pop boy band F. ABLE.
Shim Jae-hyun was known as the youngest member and main vocalist of the group, and with his attractive voice, bright smile, and simple nature, he quickly won over fans.
In recent years, F. ABLE’s activities had waned, and several members of the group had split up to form new groups, after which Shim Jae-hyun temporarily retired from showbiz.
Fans were unaware that he was quietly battling a deadly disease, leukemia. The disease was revealed after his death, leaving his loved ones in shock.
His close associate and former group member Lee Ho-joon expressed his condolences on social media, saying, “The time we spent together will always remain in my heart. I pray that you are now free from all sorrow, illness, and worry.” Deep sorrow and condolences are also being expressed by the K-pop community and fans in South Korea on his passing.
Shim Jae-hyun’s family has not yet announced a funeral or memorial service. His short but bright artistic life and quiet struggle against personal illness made him a memorable artist who will be remembered by his fans for a long time.
