
Work on Rs7.4 Billion Karachi Industrial Park Set to Begin in September
Federal Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal has instructed stakeholders to evaluate the updated PC-1 of the Karachi Industrial Park (KIP) project in line with its revised scope and directed preparations for a groundbreaking ceremony scheduled for September 4. Chairing a progress review meeting with representatives from the Ministry of Industries and Production, the Board of Investment, and the Pakistan Industrial Development Corporation, the minister emphasized the importance of timely execution of the high-priority development initiative. As per the revised plan, the Rs7.404 billion project will be financed over six quarters and is expected to be completed within 15 months.
