Air Chief Marshal Sidhu Credits National Unity for Foiling Indian Hostility
ISLAMABAD – Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu has expressed gratitude to National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq for his pivotal role in rallying national unity in the face of Indian aggression.
In an official letter addressed to the Speaker, the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) chief lauded the strong show of solidarity and support demonstrated by the parliamentary leadership during a critical moment for national defense.
Air Chief Marshal Sidhu praised Speaker Ayaz Sadiq for his leadership in uniting the nation and Parliament in support of the armed forces, stating that such collective resolve significantly contributed to countering hostile actions from India.
He noted that the courageous response by the PAF, backed by Parliament and the people, will be remembered as a historic milestone, exemplifying how national unity can defeat enemy ambitions.
He further emphasized that the success of the Pakistan Air Force was a result of divine blessing and the unwavering support of a united nation. “With the people’s support, Pakistan’s armed forces are fully capable of meeting any challenge,” he stated, reaffirming the PAF’s readiness to defend the country’s airspace and uphold national security.
Air Chief Marshal Sidhu also assured the Speaker of the PAF’s continued cooperation and steadfast commitment to national objectives.
The letter was written in response to a previous message from Speaker Ayaz Sadiq, who had praised the valiant leadership of Field Marshal General Syed Asim Munir and Air Chief Marshal Sidhu for their bold response to India’s hostile actions.
Speaker Sadiq had expressed Parliament’s unwavering support for the armed forces and commended the bravery, professionalism, and resolve of the Pakistan Air Force in defending national sovereignty.
