Balochistan Empowers Youth with Jobs, Laptops & Certifications at Quetta Ceremony

QUETTA – A vibrant certificate and award distribution ceremony was held in Quetta under the Balochistan Youth Empowerment and Engagement Initiative, celebrating the skill development and achievements of young trainees across the province.

The event was graced by Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, who presented awards and certificates to outstanding participants. The program, aimed at empowering youth through innovation-driven skill training, has so far trained over 6,000 individuals in diverse sectors.

As a major highlight of the event:

46 high-performing students received laptops as recognition for their excellence.

50 graduates were offered job placements and internships by leading national software companies.

All successful trainees were awarded official certificates validating their new skillsets.

Chief Minister Bugti lauded the initiative for its transformative impact on the region’s youth, stating:

“This initiative is not only changing individual lives, it’s catalyzing social and economic development across Balochistan. Our youth are the future, and we are committed to nurturing their potential.”

Program officials highlighted that the core mission is to promote economic self-reliance, entrepreneurship, and employability among Balochistan’s youth. The training spans a wide array of disciplines, including digital skills, IT development, entrepreneurship, and vocational expertise.

The ceremony was attended by government officials, industry leaders, and families of the trainees, marking a significant milestone in Balochistan’s push toward youth-driven development.
