Pakistan cricket team’s condition is not good: Aqib Javed
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) High Performance Director Aqib Javed has said that the situation of the Pakistan team is not good in any format.
Talking to the media in Lahore, Aqib Javed said that today is the last day of the skills development camp and the players were introduced to the coaches in the first phase. The third phase includes mostly Shaheens players who have left for England. The aim was to keep the players in action during the off-season.
He said that this series will not end here, there will be two more programs. Shaheens have to go to Australia, their preparations will be done, along with that, the preparation of the red ball players will also be done. We do not correct anyone’s mistakes in six or seven days, but the players are told what is required of them. We have to develop all-rounders and pace bowlers and that is also the aim of the camp. This series will continue till October.
He said that a new cycle of the Test Championship is starting, and Pakistan has many chances in it. Each team takes advantage of its home conditions. A lot of work has been done on the team announcement and it will be announced soon.
Aqib Javed said that all players will get a chance, this series will not stop here, everyone will get a chance to improve their skills and everyone will have to understand that our situation in all formats is not good, we cannot take any team lightly and Bangladesh also plays well in their own country and we will not take the series against Bangladesh easy either.
