Indian fast bowler Prasad Krishna made a negative record by bowling a costly spell against England on the third day of the Edgbaston Test.

India’s position is stable in the third day of the Test after Mohammad Siraj dismissed Joe Root and Ben Stokes in consecutive balls.However, English wicketkeeper-batsman Jamie Smith and Harry Brook put on a brilliant partnership and played a key role in reducing the first innings deficit.
Other Indian bowlers bowled brilliantly but fast bowler Prasad Krishna was the target of a batting charge by the English batter.

Prasad Krishna’s one over saw the English batter score 23 runs, which included four fours and a huge six.

The fast bowler conceded 50 runs in a five-over spell, the most expensive spell of five or more overs by an Indian bowler since 2006.
