Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi Honors Martyrdom of Capt Karnal Sher Khan Shaheed

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Saturday paid heartfelt tribute to Captain Karnal Sher Khan Shaheed, Nishan-e-Haider, on the occasion of his 26th martyrdom anniversary, acknowledging his extraordinary bravery and sacrifice during the 1999 Kargil conflict.

In his commemorative message, the minister said that the towering peaks of Kargil stand witness to the unmatched courage displayed by Captain Karnal Sher Khan, who fought with exceptional valor in the defense of his homeland. He described him as a true lion of Pakistan, whose fearless actions struck fear into the hearts of the enemy.

Mohsin Naqvi emphasized that the young officer laid down his life while courageously foiling the enemy’s malicious designs, becoming a symbol of national pride. He added that Pakistan’s enemies cannot succeed in their objectives as long as the country continues to produce brave sons like Captain Karnal Sher Khan Shaheed.

Captain Karnal Sher Khan, who was posthumously awarded the Nishan-e-Haider, Pakistan’s highest military honor, remains an enduring symbol of patriotism and heroism. His martyrdom during the Kargil War has left a lasting legacy, inspiring generations of Pakistanis and serving as a source of strength for the nation’s armed forces.
