
Ishaq Dar, Iranian FM Discuss Regional Developments at ECO Summit
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar met with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi on the sidelines of the 17th Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Summit held in Khankendi, Azerbaijan.
In a message shared on the social media platform X on Friday, Dar stated that the two sides exchanged views on the current regional landscape and recent developments, emphasizing the importance of staying informed on evolving dynamics in the region.
Both officials reaffirmed the strong bilateral ties between Pakistan and Iran and reiterated their commitment to deepening cooperation in areas of mutual interest. The meeting highlighted the ongoing efforts by both countries to maintain close diplomatic engagement and regional collaboration through multilateral platforms like ECO.
