
PM Shehbaz, Erdogan, Ilham Aliyev Display Fraternal Bond at ECO Summit in Khankendi
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev demonstrated the strong fraternal bonds between their nations during an informal walk following the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Summit in Khankendi, Azerbaijan.
According to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office released Saturday, the three leaders strolled together and engaged in a warm and friendly exchange. President Ilham Aliyev briefed his counterparts on the historical significance of Khankendi and its cultural landmarks.
In a gesture underscoring their brotherly ties, the leaders walked hand in hand, symbolizing unity and solidarity among Pakistan, Turkiye, and Azerbaijan.
Following the stroll, President Aliyev personally drove Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to the historic city of Shusha, where he hosted a luncheon in his honor. The interaction between the three leaders was widely seen as a reflection of their shared vision for regional cooperation and strengthened diplomatic ties.
