Annual meeting of the Asian Cricket Council will be held in Bangladesh
Islamabad: Asian Cricket Council President Mohsin Naqvi has called for the annual general meeting in Bangladesh, and despite India’s objection, the meeting will be held in Bangladesh.
Sources say that the annual general meeting will be held in Dhaka on July 24 and the Asian Cricket Council has sent a notice of the meeting to the member countries. After a long time, the Asian Cricket Council meeting is being held in Bangladesh, while the Pakistan-Bangladesh series will also be taking place on the same days and the member countries will also be invited.
It is reported that India and Sri Lanka have asked to change the venue and date of the meeting as both countries want to hold the meeting elsewhere.
Asian Cricket Council sources say that the meeting is likely to be held in Dhaka as 15 days’ notice has been given for the preparation of the meeting.
