Humaira Asghar’s Body Possibly Unattended for Nine Months: Police Report

In a chilling revelation, Karachi police officials have reported that the decomposed body of actress and model Humaira Asghar Ali may have been lying undiscovered for nearly nine months in her apartment located in DHA Phase VI.

The advanced stage of decomposition has made the investigation particularly complex. According to forensic experts and a female Medico-Legal Officer (MLO) who assisted in the late-night scene examination, the estimated time of death likely dates back to September or October 2024.

Evidence collected from the apartment included expired food and beverage containers, many of which bore expiration dates from early 2024. This discovery further supports the timeline that her death may have occurred around nine months ago.

Police also disclosed that the last known activity on her mobile phone was a message exchange with an online taxi driver in September 2024. Since then, there had been no communication or trace of her presence, including no contact with the property owner or any financial transactions.

Until recently, her body remained unclaimed. However, family members have now stepped forward, and her brother-in-law has approached the authorities to initiate the formal process for receiving her remains.

The exact cause of death remains unclear and will only be determined after the post-mortem report is finalized.

This tragic case has reignited concerns over mental health and isolation, especially within the entertainment industry, as fellow actors and public figures continue to express grief and call for greater community awareness.
