Maha Hasan Opens Up About Childhood Harassment and Her Journey Toward Healing
Actress Maha Hasan, 29, has opened up about her painful childhood trauma, recounting the emotional scars left by harassment and emphasizing the importance of therapy, support, and faith in healing.
Speaking on a television program, Maha bravely shared that she experienced inappropriate behavior and physical contact at a very young age, which deeply impacted her mental well-being and belief system.
“Even at 18, you are not mature enough to fully understand that what’s happening is wrong,” she explained. Recalling the manipulation she endured, Maha admitted that she once rationalized her abuser’s actions, even thinking he might need therapy.

“I still feel guilty thinking other girls may have become his victims,” she said, acknowledging how the trauma left her spiritually shaken and in deep internal conflict. “I started questioning religion and my values.”
However, through therapy and a committed journey of self-healing, Maha said she has slowly reconnected with her spirituality:
“I now find peace in Namaz, and my faith has returned with full force. I’m finally at peace with where I stand in life.”
Addressing broader issues, Maha also spoke about the rampant harassment and exploitation within the entertainment industry, calling for stronger accountability measures and better protection for vulnerable individuals in showbiz.
