PML-N Criticizes Gandapur as Gallup Survey Reveals Public Discontent in KP

Jul 14, 2025

Punjab Information Minister Uzma Bokhari has launched a scathing attack on the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government, led by Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, following the release of a new Gallup survey highlighting widespread dissatisfaction with PTI’s governance in the province.

Addressing the media, Bokhari said the survey serves as a “slap on the face” of PTI’s so-called 12-year-long “fake revolution” in KP. She pointed out that 73% of KP citizens expressed disappointment, effectively charging the Gandapur administration with poor governance.

Bokhari alleged that even PTI’s own supporters acknowledge that development funds in KP are being misused due to corruption. According to the survey, 71% of respondents demanded transparent investigations into corruption related to mega development projects.

Taking aim at Barrister Saif for defending the KP government, she remarked, “You don’t need a survey to see the mess in KP. Those who once celebrated Gallup surveys are now rejecting them when faced with the truth.”

She went further, dubbing Gandapur the “Chairman of the Loot Association” in a direct jab at his leadership.

Drawing a comparison, Bokhari praised Punjab’s governance under Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, claiming she has introduced a new standard of merit, transparency, and service delivery. “Even Gandapur and his cabinet saw Punjab’s development during their GT Road travels,” she said.

She concluded by emphasizing that no allegations could be made against Maryam Nawaz’s projects, all of which, she said, are being completed with full transparency.
