Imran Khan is in the 7-cell complex, walking and exercising: Adiala Jail officials

Pakistani authorities have once again released a list of facilities provided to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founder Imran Khan in Adiala Jail, saying that his “diet, studies and exercise are fully taken care of.”
Superintendent Adiala Jail Abdul Ghafoor Anjum said in a statement issued on Tuesday that “Imran Khan is provided with all the facilities of B-class in the jail. His diet, studies and exercise are fully taken care of.”
The statement said, “They are housed in a large complex consisting of seven cells and are provided with open space for walking. Not only this, they are also provided with bicycles for exercise.”
Imran Khan’s close aide Zulfi Bukhari had made a statement on social media that Imran Khan was being kept in solitary confinement and with inadequate facilities in jail.

Subsequently, Adiala Jail authorities issued a clarification regarding the facilities available to the PTI founder in jail, saying, “There is no truth in the rumors circulating on social media and the media. Imran Khan is not being treated in any discriminatory manner.”

“They have been provided with a separate kitchen and cook for their meals. Food is provided to them as per their wishes. In addition, the PTI founder has tweeted 414 times from his Twitter account from jail. He has also been providing instructions to party workers regarding political activities from jail.”

The explanatory statement said that Imran Khan has been issuing instructions on the general elections, November 26 protests, negotiations with the government, and the 26th Constitutional Amendment. His statements from prison have made headlines 45 times.
“In these two years, Imran Khan has also had bilateral discussions with the international media. His statements have been published in Fox News, WSJ News, ITV, Reuters and The Telegraph. In addition, he has been addressing mainstream media and newspapers from prison.”
Meetings

Authorities say that 66 women, including their families, have met in the past three months. Their party leaders are also among those who have met. In addition, meetings with lawyers and leaders have also been taking place as scheduled.
Doctors are conducting medical examinations of PTI founder Imran Khan three times a day in jail. The PTI founder has not reported any illness in the last two weeks. He is completely healthy and exercises for two hours daily.
