Pakistan decides to keep its airspace closed to India for another month
Karachi: Pakistan has decided to close its airspace to India for another month.
Pakistan’s airspace will remain closed to Indian airlines until August 23, the Pakistan Airports Authority has issued a new NOTAM.
It should be noted that after the Indo-Pak tensions, Pakistan had closed Pakistani airspace to Indian aircraft on April 23, which has been extended several times.
The closure of Pakistani airspace has increased the daily costs of Indian flights by millions of dollars. Before the closure, more than 100 Indian flights used Pakistani airspace daily.
On the other hand, India has also retaliated by closing its airspace to Pakistani aircraft.
