Pressure of retirement, Modi’s failed policies have become a burden for BJP
Delhi: Pressure to retire, Modi started becoming a burden for BJP due to failed policies.
The leadership crisis and internal turmoil in BJP came to the fore, as Modi approached the age of 75, calls for retirement started rising from within India.
According to senior BJP leader Subramanian Swamy, Modi should not go to China for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in September.
Subramanian said that China is a hidden enemy of India as it occupies many areas of Ladakh and Arunachal Pradesh.
He said that Modi is retiring in September as per party policy, hence the justification for representation is no longer there. Modi, who raised the slogan of Vishwa Guru, has today become a source of embarrassment for his own party.
