CM Maryam Nawaz, PA Deputy Speaker Discuss South Punjab Development in Key Meeting

LAHORE — Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz held an important meeting on Monday with Punjab Assembly Deputy Speaker Malik Zaheer Iqbal Channer, where they discussed the overall political landscape and ongoing development initiatives in South Punjab.

During the meeting, Channer praised the CM for her efforts in the construction and restoration of roads across Punjab. He expressed gratitude for the establishment of a burn unit in Bahawalpur and other health-focused projects such as field hospitals, clinic-on-wheels, and the Maryam Nawaz Health Clinics.

In a significant move, CM Maryam agreed to construct a dedicated Children Hospital in Bahawalpur and directed for a detailed proposal to be submitted soon.

She reiterated her commitment to Punjab’s development, stating that the progress of the province remains a top priority of her government.

Deputy Speaker Channer paid tribute to CM Maryam Nawaz’s leadership, noting that her people-centric projects have brought tangible improvements in public welfare and infrastructure.
