
Two Notorious Shooters Killed, Three Flee in Faisalabad Police Encounter
FAISALABAD — Two suspected hired assassins were killed, and three others managed to escape during a police encounter with the Crime Control Department (CCD) near Malanpur in the jurisdiction of Thikriwala police station, Faisalabad.
According to police sources, a CCD team signaled five armed suspects riding motorcycles to stop at a check post. Instead of complying, the suspects opened fire on the officers, prompting retaliatory fire.
In the exchange, two criminals identified as Hasnain and Shah Jahan were killed on the spot. Their three companions fled, prompting a large-scale search operation by local law enforcement agencies.
Officials confirmed that the deceased suspects were involved in multiple serious crimes and were known to be contract killers operating in the region.
The bodies have been shifted to the mortuary, and further investigations are underway to trace the escaped accomplices.
