Juggan Kazim Apologizes to Alizeh Shah Over Viral Mimicry Video
Lahore – July 27, 2025:
Television host Juggan Kazim has publicly apologized to actress Alizeh Shah following a resurfaced video clip that showed her mimicking Alizeh’s on-stage fall during a segment of her morning show alongside singer Shazia Manzoor.
The controversial clip, originally recorded four years ago, recently went viral, drawing strong backlash from fans who labeled the act as mockery rather than humor. While Juggan initially described the skit as “light-hearted fun”, social media users condemned the portrayal as insensitive and unprofessional.
Tensions escalated further after Alizeh Shah broke her silence, criticising individuals in the industry who, in her words, “exploit others’ misfortunes for attention.” She also called out Shazia Manzoor for allegedly turning her stage fall into a trend, adding fuel to the controversy.
In response to the mounting criticism, Juggan Kazim shared a video statement on social media, offering a heartfelt apology. “I never intended to hurt Alizeh. It was not meant to be insulting,” she stated. “I genuinely respect her and offer my sincere apology.”
Alizeh Shah accepted the apology in a gracious Instagram post, emphasizing mutual respect and calling on Juggan to also forgive her past mistakes. The gesture was widely appreciated by fans, who welcomed the reconciliation and urged for greater unity within the entertainment fraternity.
Despite the truce, most celebrities have chosen to remain silent, refraining from commenting publicly. However, the episode has reignited broader conversations about ethical behavior in media, the impact of public ridicule, and the importance of sensitivity in televised content.
