Yumna Zaidi Breaks Silence on Tere Bin 2 Delay, Says Announcement Was Premature

Jul 27, 2025

Karachi – July 27, 2025:
Pakistani actress Yumna Zaidi has finally addressed the delay in the highly anticipated drama sequel Tere Bin 2, offering clarity to fans who have long awaited updates.

In a candid video circulating on social media, Yumna stated that the sequel was announced too early, hinting that both producers and actors may share the blame for the stalled progress.

“I think the project was announced too early. It was done in haste, and I believe the delay might be due to both the producers and the actors,” Yumna said during an online interaction with fans.

She further clarified that while fans can still hold out hope for Tere Bin 2, no definitive production updates have been shared with her yet.

“You can expect it, but I still don’t know anything about it. It is still in development.”

The comments come amidst ongoing speculation and frustration among viewers, as the sequel to the record-breaking drama Tere Bin—which starred Yumna Zaidi as Meerab and Wahaj Ali as Murtasim—remains in limbo. The first season, known for its compelling love story and cliffhanger ending, left fans desperate for closure.

Despite a teaser announcement earlier this year, no official progress or production schedule has been revealed, leaving fans tagging cast members and production houses for answers.

Following her remarks, fans praised Yumna for her honesty and grounded approach.

“She gave a very mature response. It’s refreshing to see an actor being real with the audience,” one fan commented online.

Still, disappointment lingers as many speculate whether scheduling conflicts, creative differences, or production delays are contributing to the hold-up.

Yumna Zaidi continues to be one of Pakistan’s most celebrated actresses, with a growing international fanbase. Her portrayal of Meerab in Tere Bin elevated her status to superstardom, and her on-screen pairing with Wahaj Ali became one of the most iconic duos in recent Pakistani television history.
