19-year-old Divya Deshmukh defeated her compatriot Humpy Konero, 45. Along with winning the World Cup, Divya Deshmukh also won the Grandmaster title.
Divya Deshmukh has become India’s 88th and fourth female Grandmaster overall, after Gokesh Dumara, also from India, who became the youngest World Champion.
