5 cops martyred as robbers attack police post in Sadiqabad

SADIQABAD: Five policemen embraced martyrdom as dozens of robbers attacked their post near Mahi Chowk, Tv Channel reported here on Thursday night.
According to a police spokesman, dozens of bandits attacked a police post and martyred five personnel of Elite Force and injured three.
He said dozens of robbers attacked the police post late at night. Upon receiving information about the robbers’ attack, DPO Irfan Ali Samoun reached the spot along with a police contingent.
One robber was also killed in the encounter. The robbers also fired rocket launchers at the post.
DPO Irfan Ali Samo said that robbers cannot be above the state and the law, and they will be brought to justice.
