Russia’s drone and missile attack on Kyiv, 18 killed, 159 injured

Kiev: (Web Desk) Russia launched an airstrike on the Ukrainian capital Kiev, killing 18 people and injuring 159, including children.

According to Ukrainian officials, Russia targeted a residential apartment in the Kramatoruk area of Kiev, which also damaged vehicles, and several people are buried under the rubble.
Kiev officials said that rescue operations have been launched after the Russian attack, and the death toll is expected to rise.

Kiev’s military administrator Timur Tkachenko said that Russian bombing caused damage in 27 places in four districts of Kiev, and rescue teams were searching for people buried under the rubble.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called the Russian attack terrorism and said that Russia attacked Kiev with missiles and drones, which is condemnable. Russia attacked with 300 drones and 8 missiles.
The Russian Defense Ministry said the attack targeted Ukrainian airports, weapons depots and businesses it said were linked to Kiev’s military-industrial complex.
