Islamabad: The federal government has invited the opposition to hold talks to improve the 26th Amendment.

Speaking in the National Assembly session, Law Minister Azam Nazar Tarar said, “Come sit with us and tell us how to improve this amendment. We were ready yesterday and we are ready today.”

He said that the problem will not be solved by heating the atmosphere and tearing paper, the problem will be solved only by talking.
The Law Minister said that the 26th Amendment has prevented contempt of parliament from being committed by the courts. This method of appointing judges is prevalent all over the world. After the 26th Amendment, the number of pending cases has decreased.
