Tim David fined for violating code of conduct

Dubai: (Web Desk) The International Cricket Council (ICC) has fined Australian batsman Tim David for breaching the Code of Conduct in the fifth T20I against the West Indies.

According to the ICC, Tim David has been fined for breaching Level One of the ICC Code of Conduct. Tim David has been fined 10 percent of his match fee and has also been given one demerit point for breaching the Code of Conduct.
According to the ICC, Tim David has accepted the punishment given, admitting his mistake. Tim David expressed his displeasure with the umpire’s decision not to give a wide during Australia’s batting against the West Indies.
