
33 terrorists killed in night operation near Afghanistan border: ISPR
RAWALPINDI (Web News) Pakistani security forces has eliminated 33 terrorists as they attempted to infiltrate the Pakistan–Afghanistan border near Sambaza in Zhob District, Balochistan, the military’s media wing confirmed on Friday.
According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the group belonged to the India-sponsored outfit Fitna al Khwaraj. Troops engaged the infiltrators in a precise and skilful operation, killing 33 militants and seizing a significant cache of weapons, ammunition and explosives.
A sanitisation operation is under way to clear the region of any remaining militants.
The ISPR stated that Pakistan’s forces remain resolute in defending the country’s borders and countering cross-border terrorism.
