Beijing: (Web Desk) Pakistan’s Muhammad Asif has made a winning start in the World Games snooker event being held in Chengdu, China.
During the World Games snooker event, Muhammad Asif defeated China’s Xiaolong Liang in the first match of the group.
The Pakistani cueist won the best-of-three match by two goals to zero, with Muhammad Asif winning the first frame 79-50 and the second frame 77-24. Muhammad Asif will play his second match tomorrow against Alexander Widow of Germany.
The 12 players participating in the World Games Snooker Men’s Snooker have been divided into 4 groups, 2 players from each group will qualify for the quarter-finals.
