Blake Lively denies serving subpoena to Megyn Kelly amid legal battle with Justin Baldoni

Kelly, 54, made the allegation during Thursday’s episode of The Megyn Kelly Show on SiriusXM, where she criticised the Gossip Girl star and described her as a “narcissistic bully” and a “Hollywood snob.” She further claimed Lively’s legal team had attempted to involve her by issuing a subpoena through her former employer.

In a statement shared with the Daily Mail, a representative for Lively firmly rejected the accusation. “At no point in this litigation has Ms. Lively served a subpoena on Megyn Kelly,” the spokesperson clarified.

The statement added that Lively’s legal team is seeking evidence through proper legal channels as part of the discovery process. “Ms. Lively is continuing to pursue discovery in order to prove her case that Justin Baldoni, Jed Wallace, Melissa Nathan and the Wayfarer Parties retaliated against her for speaking up against the harassment she and others experienced on set, as alleged in her complaint. Seeking evidence through discovery is a normal part of the litigation process,” it read.

Kelly, however, stood by her claims and suggested that Lively’s team was “hiding behind meaningless technicalities.” She argued that although the subpoena may not have been served on her directly, it had been issued to her former employer and specifically referenced her and her show.

“Typical Blake Lively — once again obfuscating to try to avoid embarrassment for her own inappropriate behavior,” Kelly said during her program.

The dispute is tied to Lively’s legal action against Baldoni and associated parties, in which she alleges retaliation after raising concerns about workplace harassment. The case has drawn media attention due to the high-profile names involved and the competing public statements from both sides.

While Kelly maintains that she has been unfairly drawn into the matter, Lively’s team insists that the legal process is being conducted appropriately and in line with standard discovery procedures.
