Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, U.S. Chargé d’Affaires Natalie Baker Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Defence Ties
ISLAMABAD: U.S. Chargé d’Affaires Ms. Natalie Baker called on Minister for Defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif at his office in Islamabad.
During the meeting, both sides discussed matters of mutual interest and explored avenues to further deepen bilateral defence cooperation.
The Defence Minister highlighted that Pakistan and the United States share a longstanding partnership built on mutual respect and a common vision for regional stability and prosperity.
Both sides expressed satisfaction over the positive trajectory of bilateral relations and acknowledged the renewed momentum and growing warmth in ties between the two nations.

The evolving situation in Afghanistan also featured in the discussions, with both sides emphasizing the importance of a peaceful and stable Afghanistan and the need to address security challenges emanating from its territory.
