(Web News)TikToker Samiya Hijab has claimed she forgave Hassan Zahid, who was accused by her of harassment and attempted abduction, saying the decision was made ‘for the sake of Allah” and not in exchange for money.
In an interview with 24NewsHD, Samiya said Zahid’s father visited her home to apologise and that the family asked for forgiveness. “His family asked for forgiveness. I don’t think the entire household should suffer for his mistake,” she told the channel.
Addressing online speculation about a financial settlement, Samiya said she did not accept any money and that she has messages to support her claim.
“I didn’t take any money for reconciliation. I have messages as proof. If I had taken the money, I would be very happy right now. I forgave Hassan purely for the sake of Allah,” she said.
Samiya said the episode has damaged her ability to trust others. “For the next three to four years, I won’t be able to trust anyone,” she said.
She said the controversy has affected her social media following. “Had this incident not happened, I would have a million followers,” she said, adding that she views the reconciliation as a victory for other women as well.
