The 35-year-old actress, who is currently promoting her romantic drama A Big Bold Beautiful Journey alongside Colin Farrell, has stepped out in a series of daring looks, from sheer couture gowns to leg-baring mini dresses.
At Monday’s New York premiere, Robbie commanded attention in a vintage 1998 Thierry Mugler gown featuring a plunging neckline and thigh-high slit.
Days earlier, she dazzled in London wearing a completely sheer Armani Privé gown embellished with sequins and crystals.
While the Barbie star has embraced a more revealing style, reactions online have been divided. Some fans have gone so far as to call for her to replace her stylist.
“Quite fond of Margot. There seems to be a big push recently to style her in a ‘suggestive’ manner. Didn’t seem like that type of chick,” one person wrote.
Another commented: “What’s with all the skimpy dresses lately? She really doesn’t need to.”
Others slammed the Mugler look as “too busy” and “awkward to walk in,” while one fan bluntly declared: “Sack the stylist.”
Despite the criticism, Robbie’s red carpet appearances have cemented her as one of Hollywood’s most talked-about fashion figures.

Her new style shift comes after a quieter year focused on motherhood. Robbie and her husband, Tom Ackerley welcomed their first son in October 2024, following her global success with Barbie the previous year.
Now, she’s stepping back into the spotlight with A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, in which she stars as Sarah opposite Farrell’s David. The film tells the story of two people who discover a portal to their past and relive their most defining memories, from heartbreak to family loss.
The cast also includes Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Hamish Linklater, Lily Rabe, Billy Magnussen and Jodie Turner-Smith. The movie will be released in Australian cinemas on September 18.
