Japan Ambassador Hosts Dinner to Honor SAFJUAA Conference and MEXT Alumni

Ambassador of Japan HE Akamatsu Shuichi hosted a dinner reception at his residence on 7 November 2025 to mark the conference of the South Asian Federation of Japanese University Alumni Associations (SAFJUAA).
The gathering brought together MEXT alumni from across Pakistan, offering an opportunity to deepen regional cooperation, exchange experiences, and celebrate the strong and lasting bond between Japan and the MEXT scholar community.

The Embassy of Japan expressed its appreciation for the proactive role MEXT alumni continue to play in advancing mutual understanding, academic collaboration, and people-to-people ties between Japan and South Asian nations.
