
High Commission of Canada Tariq Ali Khan Marks Remembrance Day, Honours Fallen Soldiers
ISLAMABAD: High Commission of Canada HE Tariq Ali Khan commemorated Remembrance Day with a solemn tribute to the soldiers who sacrificed their lives for peace and freedom. He noted that more than 111,000 Canadian soldiers and 162,000 British Indian soldiers lost their lives during the First and Second World Wars.

Speaking at the ceremony, Tariq Ali Khan emphasized that the shared history of sacrifice continues to bind communities across continents. He added that from Rawalpindi to Regina, the fallen heroes are never forgotten.

The event highlighted the enduring respect for those who served and reaffirmed the commitment to preserving their legacy for future generations.
