Faisalabad gets major boost as ground-breaking held for state-of-the-art wastewater treatment plant
FAISALABAD: Punjab’s Minister for Housing, Urban Development, and Public Health Engineering Bilal Yaseen and Danish Ambassador Maja Derrous Mortensen have kicked off construction of the Eastern Faisalabad Waste Water Treatment Plant, a project financed by Impact Fund Denmark.

The facility will treat 33 million gallons of wastewater daily, bringing cleaner water, healthier communities, and a greener urban environment to Faisalabad. The project is a result of years of persistence, planning, and partnership, and is expected to have a significant positive impact on the city’s environment and residents’ lives.
