
President for enhanced bilateral cooperation in trade, economy, and culture Latvia
ISLAMABAD: The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Latvia to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Dana Goldfinča, submitted credentials to the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari.
In meetings with officials at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other public authorities of Pakistan, opportunities for cooperation were discussed, including in economy, education, information technology, and other areas.

The Ambassador’s accreditation makes it possible to develop bilateral relations between Latvia and Pakistan and opens up broader opportunities for dialogue on international security and regional cooperation issues, including in the framework of the EU–Pakistan cooperation.

The President highlighted the need for further expanding bilateral trade and business relations with the respective countries. He congratulated the Ambassadors on their new assignments and wished them success in the exercise of their duties.
