Pakistan Army Issues Stern Warning to India: Future Misadventures Will Face Harsher Response

May 25, 2025

RAWALPINDI – The Pakistan Army has issued a strong warning to India, cautioning that any repeat of past “misadventures” will provoke an even more decisive and harsh response. The statement came from Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, Director General of the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), during a press briefing amid rising regional tensions.

“India thought it could attack and Pakistan would not respond,” said the ISPR DG. “But the nation stood united like an iron wall, and India’s flawed strategy was exposed.”

National Unity and Military Strength

Rejecting the notion of internal division, Lt Gen Chaudhry asserted, “They believed the people and military were divided — never. This nation and its army have always been one.”

He revealed that Pakistan’s military leadership retaliated to Indian aggression by targeting 26 strategic locations inside India. One notable action included the destruction of an Indian brigade headquarters in response to the martyrdom of a 7-year-old boy, Irtiza, in Muzaffarabad.

“On the 6th and 7th [of the conflict], Indian jets targeted Pakistani children — we responded by destroying the airbases those jets took off from,” the general added.

While emphasizing Pakistan’s military capabilities, the ISPR DG highlighted the army’s ethical stance:

“Despite being under attack, we did not target any civilian infrastructure, temple, or population center. Pakistan is a peace-loving nation.”

Warning to India: A More Severe Response Next Time

In a clear message to New Delhi, Gen Chaudhry stated:

“If India repeats the same mistake, our response will be even more severe.”

Terrorism and Indian Involvement

The army spokesperson accused India of supporting terrorism in Pakistan:

“Behind every terrorist attack in Pakistan, India’s face is visible.”
He criticized extremist ideologies, branding such militants as “Kharijites” — extremists with no connection to Islam or the traditions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).

“You seek help from India — the same country that violates the dignity of Kashmiri girls. Shame on you,” he said, denouncing militant factions that allegedly cooperate with foreign enemies.

Appeal to Afghanistan and the Pashtun People

Lt Gen Chaudhry reaffirmed Pakistan’s bond with Afghanistan, calling it a “brotherly Islamic nation.”

“The Pashtun is your brother. Our issue is with the elite, bought by India. We ask our Afghan brothers — do not provide refuge to terrorists or act as tools of Indian policy.”

Kashmir Will Become Pakistan

The ISPR DG concluded with a powerful message of resolve:

“To the brave people and tribes of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the time has come again — Kashmir will become Pakistan.”
