ADC martyred fighting off terror attack in Surab, bank looted and homes torched

Around 20 to 30 terrorists attacked the market, roughed up women and children, and looted the bank.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (revenue) Hidayatullah Baloch stood his ground and was martyred in action in order to save the civilians.

As soon as FC forces arrived, the attackers fled the scene.

According to the Balochistan government spokesman Shahid Rind, the militants aimed to challenge the writ of the state but failed to break its resolve.

Security forces, including FC, police, and Levies, have now launched a search and clearance operation in the area.

The government has vowed to crack down hard on all anti-state elements.

Four terrorists eliminated, two cops martyred in Rawalakot operation

RAWALAKOT: Four terrorists were eliminated and two policemen embraced martyrdom in an operation carried out by law enforcers against militants in Hussain Kot, Dunya News reported here on Wednesday.

According to police, the two policemen were martyred in firing and hand grenade attack by the terrorists. Four perpetrators were taken out in an exchange of fire between police and the militants.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi in a statement commended police for their successful operation, in which four terrorists were sent to hell, and paid tribute to the martyred policemen.

The interior minister said the nation stands with the families of the martyred security personnel, who laid their lives in the defence of the country.
